Pattern: Version 3 of Fitted Cardigan from Jo Sharp Knit Issue 3.
Yarn: Jo Sharp Alpaca Kid Lustre, color 852 Vintage, 7 seven skeins and a smidge of 8th. I have enough left to knit myself a pair of Fetching.
Needles: US 5 for the body and US 3 for the button band and neckband.
Modifications: I added several inches to the total length of the cardigan. I used one size smaller needles for the body to get guage, something I do almost every time as I am a fairly loose knitter. I used US#3 needles for the neckband and button band. More details here.
Pattern: Eileen designed by Jillian Moreno from No Sheep for You Yarn: Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy in color 13, 4 balls Needles: Addi Lace Circular Needles, US #2 for the body and US #1 for the armholes and neckline edges Modifications: different gauge, I added waist shaping, lengthened the body about 1 and 1/2'' and lowered the neckline on the front about 1 and 1/2''. I added two knit rows to the armhole edging.
Pattern: Indigo Ripples Skirt from IK Spring 2007 designed by Kat Coyle
Yarn: Rowan Denim, 8,5 skeins
Needles: Susan Bates circular needle #US 5. After trying my Denise Needles, I found it easier to work Rowan Denim on metal once (I used the cheapest needles I had at home and they worked fine)
Modifications: I added length to the stockinette panel and shortened the lace part. Instead of 60 rows I knitted only 50.
Yarn: Jade Sapphire Lacy Lamb, one skein with very little left over
Needles: Knitpicks Circular, US #2
Gauge: 20" x 55" finished dimensions
Modifications: I made the whole stole in one piece instead of grafting two identical halves together. I sacrificed the symmetry but I like it better without the grafting row and therefore no interruption to the pattern.
